Meet Maria Rodas

RCSWI (*bilingual & School based)

Maria’s Favorite Things:

  • Witnessing the resilience of the human spirit and walking alongside clients as they begin to heal from emotional pain.
  • Helping children, adolescents, and adults recognize their own strengths and discover that they are capable of moving forward, even when life feels overwhelming.
  • Supporting clients as they develop healthy boundaries, strengthen their emotional regulation skills, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
  • Creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can feel understood, explore their experiences without judgment, and begin creating meaningful change.

What a session with me looks like:

Therapy with me is a collaborative and supportive experience. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you explore what you are experiencing, understand yourself more deeply, and identify the strengths and resources you already carry. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while creating space to heal emotionally, develop healthier ways of coping, and move toward the life you want.

“Healing begins when you feel safe enough to be seen, understood, and reminded of the strength you already carry.”

Before Therapy, my clients often say:

  • “I don’t even know where to start.”
  • “I feel like I’m failing.”
  • “I don’t understand why I feel this way.”
  • “I just want to feel like myself again.”
  • “I don’t feel understood.”

Maria enriches clients’ lives by:

  • Creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences.
  • Helping clients recognize their strengths, build healthy boundaries, and develop emotional regulation and coping skills that support them through life’s challenges.
  • Walking alongside clients through anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges while empowering them to move forward with greater confidence and self-awareness.
