My Favorite Part of Being a Therapist
- Celebrating the little moments: Growth happens in the little moments, sometimes it’s using a new coping skill, naming a new emotion, or feeling comfortable enough to open up is growth. Those moments are incredibly meaningful to me.
- Watching confidence grow: I love seeing clients begin to recognize their own strengths and become more confident in expressing themselves.
- Helping kids feel understood: One of the most rewarding parts of being a therapist is creating a space where children and teens know that they’re being heard and they don’t have to navigate difficult experiences alone.
Specialties:
I enjoy working with children and adolescents navigating trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. My approach is emotion-focused, trauma-informed, and relational, with an emphasis on helping clients develop self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with their strengths.
What Sessions with me Look Like:
- A session with me is collaborative and client-centered. I believe therapy is a space where clients can slow down and make sense of their experiences without feeling judged or rushed.
- I meet each client where they are and use activities that fit their age, personality, and needs. Together, we’ll explore emotions, build self-awareness, and develop healthy ways to cope. Most importantly, I want clients to leave therapy feeling heard, understood, and more connected to themselves.
