Frequently Asked Questions
Your mental health describes the thoughts, beliefs, feelings and behaviors that make you a unique individual. If you experience imbalance in any of these areas, your mental health could be negatively impacted.
While you can’t always assess your own mental health, the following could indicate a struggle, meaning you may want to seek support in your mental health journey:
Consistently feeling sad or down; losing the inability to concentrate; experiencing excessive fears, doubts or guilty feelings; rapid or frequent mood changes; self-isolation; frequently feeling exhausted or lacking in energy.
Your mental health could be impacted if you face physical, psychological or social challenges, or if you’re dealing with major life events. Sometimes even the smallest change can create unbalance, leading to stress and other challenging emotions.
When you seek the support of one of our trained counselors, we will work together to address challenges that may impact your mental health. Over the course of our time together, we will help you develop strategies that allow you to better cope with changes and negative events without sacrificing your mental health.
Currently, Enriched Life Counseling and Consulting accepts Cigna, Aetna, BlueCross Blue Shield and United insurance plans. Please consult your insurance provider for specific co-pay breakdowns for mental health services.
We offer a self-pay service that allows patients with other insurance plans to receive support from our team. All self-pay visits must be pre-paid, at the rate of $180 per session.
Enriched Life Counseling and Consulting cannot reimburse your visit, but we can provide you with a Super Bill that you submit to your insurance provider. From there, they will determine if your visit is a reimbursable expense.
We can’t guarantee reimbursements from out-of-network insurers, but we always suggest that you ask your provider.
