Hakeem's Favorite Things

  • Helping clients develop insight, realize their strengths, and foster a sense of resiliency.

  • Encouraging marginalized populations and young men to break the stigma surrounding seeking therapy.

  • Helping couples navigate relationship difficulties and feel more connected within their relationship.

  • Empowering children, teens/adolescents, and adults to achieve a more fulfilling future.

“Therapy is a space where you are free to explore, to grow, to question, and to emerge more fully into who you are meant to be.”

Before therapy, Hakeem’s clients often say:

  • “I constantly feel worried and just want to feel like the old me again.”
  • “I’m the reason why I’m in this situation.”
  • “I’m worried about my child not speaking to me and acting out in school.”
  • “I don’t know how to deal with my loved one being gone.”
  • “I think we are at the end of our relationship.”

Hakeem enriches clients lives by:

  • Providing you with a warm, safe, and empathetic space to express all feelings and concerns.

  • Working to understand your past and current experiences to help you find  self-understanding.

  • Utilizing play and expressive arts therapy to help you navigate and communicate your emotions.

  • Empowering you to develop self compassion, work through self-guilt, and foster inner healing.

  • Helping you and your partner build a strong foundation of communication, trust, and commitment that fosters deeper love and connection within your relationship.
